Heather (Tuttle) Lynn joined HR Advisors Group in 2005 as a Benefits, Compensation & HRIS expert. With over 25 years of experience in human resources, she focuses on structuring health, welfare and retirement plans; analyzing and managing benefits; and benchmarking compensation. In addition, she has extensive experience with M&A due diligence, ERISA and EEO compliance, HRIS systems, and Affirmative Action Plans.
Heather loves data and is an expert when it comes to completing Affirmative Action Plans. She takes the data from employee population demographics and helps our clients understand what it means. She helps clients understand the importance of compliance-related issues by providing compliance language and content in a way that is meaningful and easy-to-understand. She also works with our clients to understand their HRIS systems and the various ways to use the data and information from those systems. She has a BA in Marketing from James Madison University.
I picked up rock climbing when I was in my late teens because I was afraid of heights and I felt that challenging myself would help me overcome my fear. What I realized was that I wasn’t so much afraid of the height as I was afraid of falling from the height! Through this adventure I recognized that great lessons can be learned by challenging yourself in unique ways to overcome the difficult situations we face in life. I soon realized that the lessons learned by challenging yourself personally readily transferred to your professional life. I love to be challenged and to engage with others on the interesting topics and issues that we face in HR. I derive satisfaction in helping others with their HR problems and educating people about the resources and benefits available to them that will help their organization and employees grow and prosper.
